MKII Charcoal Spit Braai

The MKII has 2 fireboxes on the side of the braai which can be adjusted closer or further away from the braai giving control of braaiing time. The drip tray coming with the braai can be utilised to cook vegs and other side dishes making this a great choice for the more traditional inclined chef when it comes to braaiing. The braai is designed to be dismantled in less than two minutes and can fit in the trunk of a mid-sized sedan. The MKII comes with 2 leg hoops, and 2 clamp plates with 2 U-bolts to tie the carcase to your spit bar. Also included is 1 double spike with the fork setup of the clamp plates allowing the easy spit-braaing of a leg of lamb or rolled meat close to the spit bar. The same trusting spit motor is used for this spit braai. It is a 50Mhz, 0.47amp 220v motor within a heat-protective box capable of spiting a carcase of up to 30kg and meat on the bar up to 40kg.
